Licenses & Permits

La María Mine is fully compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements for the operation of gold mining in Colombia. The mine has obtained all necessary permits and licenses, including:

Mining Concession: La María Mine holds a valid mining concession granted by the National Mining Agency (Agencia Nacional de Minería - ANM), authorizing the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources.

​

Environmental License: The mine has been issued an environmental license by the National Environmental Licensing Authority (Autoridad Nacional de Licencias Ambientales - ANLA), ensuring that the operation adheres to environmental protection standards and mitigates any adverse ecological impact.

​

PTO - Programa de Trabajos y Obras: La María Mine has secured the required land use and zoning permits (PTO - Programa de Trabajos y Obras), in compliance with local and national regulations regarding land management and development.

​

Additional Permits: The mine has obtained all other necessary regional, safety, and health-related permits as required under Colombian law. This includes all relevant certifications for health, safety, water use, explosives, and transportation, ensuring the operational standards are met for a safe and responsible mining environment.

La María Mine continues to maintain a commitment to legal compliance and environmental stewardship, ensuring sustainable mining practices that contribute positively to the local community and the broader industry.

The La Maria mine, in addition to holding the three major licenses required for operation—Concession Title, Environmental License, and PTO—furthermore, we are excited to present the remaining necessary authorizations to ensure full compliance and the successful transition of this promising project into full operations. The following additional permits and licenses are as follows:

Water Use Permits

Essential for many mining activities, particularly gold mining that involves the use of water for processing and washing.

Social and Community Impact Consultation

we are engage with local communities to ensure social and environmental issues are addressed.

Small-Scale Mining Registration

mainly for small-scale operations, medium-scale mining operations need to meet specific formalization requirements and be registered for tax and regulatory purposes.

Explosives License

license for the use, storage, and transportation of explosives used in mining operations.

Health and Safety Permits

we ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, including proper working conditions and accident prevention measures.

Transportation and Infrastructure Permits

Permits is required for the transportation of minerals, equipment, and other supplies, particularly if the mining operation spans multiple regions or involves transporting goods over long distances.
