GOLD MOUNTAIN MINE
The Gold Mountain / Lucky Baldwin Mine
Big Bear, San Bernardino County, California

HISTORIC OVERVIEW
"Second Gold Rush"
Rising above Baldwin Lake in California’s San Bernardino Mountains, the Gold Mountain / Lucky Baldwin Mine is a monument to the Golden State’s enduring pursuit of prosperity. First discovered in the 1870s, it sparked one of Southern California’s most ambitious mining ventures under the famed financier Elias J. “Lucky” Baldwin, whose vision transformed the rugged Big Bear frontier into a center of industry and innovation.
From the roaring stamp mills and bustling settlement of Doble to the quiet resilience of modern preservation, Gold Mountain tells a story of determination, fortune, and renewal. Today, under the stewardship of DX Gold Corp & Doble Mining, this legendary site is entering a new era — merging 19th-century heritage with 21st-century mining excellence to restore one of California’s most iconic gold landmarks to productivity once again.
PERMITS & LICENSES
Operational Approved
The Gold Mountain / Lucky Baldwin Mine stands as one of California’s few fully authorized gold projects, backed by a complete suite of federal and forestry approvals. Operated under BLM Lease CACA45901-01, the project holds an approved Operating & Mining Plan under 43 CFR 3592.1, a secured federal reclamation bond, and long-term permits from the U.S. Forest Service covering access, fire safety, and water resource use.
Certified by the MSHA for operational safety and bonded for full environmental compliance, the mine is permitted for exploration, extraction, and on-site mineral processing under 36 CFR 228 Subpart C. With continuous regulatory validation since the 1990s, Gold Mountain is a federally approved, environmentally compliant, and production-ready asset under DX Gold Corp & Doble Mining 100 % leasing rights.

OPERATIONS
This federally bonded and BLM-approved operation is cleared for immediate exploration, drilling, and production. The project encompasses a fault-fractured orebody extending over 700 feet in length and 120 feet in width, historically recognized for its auriferous sulfide veins and refractory-style gold—a geological setting comparable to major gold systems found across North America. Supported by long-standing regulatory approvals and on-site infrastructure, Gold Mountain is uniquely positioned for a rapid transition from exploration to production.
Early modeling and field analysis suggest the potential to delineate up to 200,000 ounces of gold (Au) within and around the primary structure, with high-grade zones open along strike and at depth. This positions the project as a potential high-grade, multi-hundred-thousand-ounce gold discovery in the making—possibly one of the most significant in 21st-century California. With modern extraction technologies, full environmental compliance, and strategic proximity to Los Angeles, DX Gold Corp is unlocking a historical asset poised to become one of the region’s most valuable and productive gold mining operations.
